Ethics and the Public Servant

An Exploration of Community Attitudes

Date: Saturday, January 12, 1979

Time: 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Place: Kuykendall Auditorium,

UH Manoa campus

The sponsors of this conference invite you to join in a discussion of ethics and the public servant in Hawaii. We will seek to explore whether the standards of conduct we have developed in Hawaii really represent what the community expects of its public servants. While we do not anticipate easy answers, we will ask the questions: Are there ethical absolutes which transcend ethnic and cultural differences?
