FRAN BURGESS is the new Community Services Planner for the Health and Community Services Council. The Council's newsletter says: "Fran brings to the Council training, experience, and concern for health systems and services..." We know. Congratulations and good luck, Fran. We hated to lose you to a full-time job but it sounds great!

MILDRED TOWLE was just re-elected president of Oi Quon Hui. Oi Quon Hui? That sounds Chinese! And it is. Although all ethnic groups are now welcome to join, it was originally a Chinese women's club formed to encourage Chinese women to get out of their homes. Mildred was instrumental in starting the club and was a charter member in 1938. League has members with the most interesting involvements!

JUDY COLLINS, who has just joined Nancy Guille's old League in Virginia, has rejoined Honolulu League as well. "I miss Honolulu A.M. Unit," she writes. "I'm still following Hawaii energy matters and politics and may end up back there, so we checked it out and I can join two LWVs. Best way to keep up with you all!"
