November 17 Budget Workshop Huge SuccessThe Budget Workshop sponsored by Honolulu City Council and Honolulu League was attended by members and the general public. A brisk question and answer period was so enthusiastically involved it had to be cut in the midst of discussion as time ran out. Those who attended commented on how informative the workshop was and how much more confident they will feel when discussing budgetary matters with a better understanding of money issues, in government! This type of workshop and study group projects will be more evident in 1985 to help members and the public become more informed on issues and what our elected government officials are doing with them.
