Membership Luncheon on UN Conference on Women

On September 16th at Davies Hall, St. Andrews Cathedral 115 League members and their friends attended a general membership meeting where Human Resources State League Chair Pam Ferguson Brey gave her report on the NGO Forum at the United Nations 4th World Conference on Women in Beijing China. Dr. Carolyn M. Stephenson, who was an official delegate to the UN Conference, reported on some substantive issues.

For those of you who were not able to attend the program will be shown on Olelo. Pearl Johnson, the League Production Committee and Olelo volunteers Joan King and Jan Holland have edited and prepared the program. Receipts from this successful event after expenses will be used able to sponsor additional League productions.

Thanks to those of you who attended and those of you who joined the League and this event.
