Initiative & Referendum Study

The study to re-examine our State League position in support of Direct Initiative and Petition Referendum has not yet been completed. The procedure for the study has been that drafts prepared by the chairperson are reviewed and returned by members of the committee. The final draft will then be printed and distributed to all League members. Each League will seek consensus on the subject and the consensus from each League will be factored in to become the consensus of our state League. Members may decide to alter the original consensus in some way, or drop support of Initiative and Referendum completely.
