LWV-HI Council 2008 Saturday, May 10 9:00 am Hawaii Community Foundation Meeting Room 16th Floor, Financial Factors Building 1164 Bishop Street, Honolulu between Beretania and Hotel Street (across from Hawaiian Telephone) All-day parking for $3 at municipal lots: Smith and Beretania / Alii Place, 1099 Alakea St Council is held biennially between Conventions. Voting members of Council are the State Board and two representatives from each local League, although all League members are encouraged to attend. According to our bylaws, Council is a time to give guidance to the State Board on “program, methods of work, and budget.” It is generally a smaller, more introspective group than gathers at Convention. Please mark your calendars and save the date. We hope to have an intriguing agenda. Details will follow...
