- Increase public participation in government

- Investigate ways to increase voter awareness & knowledge of important issues

- Support initiative and referendum at the state level
- Increase cooperation with other organizations with similar goals (Media Council, Sierra Club, etc.)

- Have active Membership Chairs in each League
- Increase diversity, e.g. recruit men, different age groups
- Plan for Future Leadership
- Develop succession plans for each League
- Make sure each committee has at least three members
- Make sure there is a dedicated chair for any new study
