National Board Member Visits Hawaii

Mrs. Louis Hirsch, National Board member and former President of the League of Women Voters of Arizona, attended two sessions of the second Board meeting of the LWVH last August 10-11. Although Mrs. Hirsch was vacationing in Hawaii with her family, she agreed to spend time not only with the State Board but with both the Honolulu League and Hawaii County Board members. Mrs. Hirsch's knowledge of Hawaii and its unique qualities gained as a resident here after the war added spice to her general background of League know-how. While we cannot expect to have a National Board member present at every meeting of the League, we certainly appreciate the help we have already received from "tourists" who happen also to be members of the League of Women Voters.
