 | Pat Shutt, Jerry Hess, and Melvia Kawashima presented an ACTION WORKSHOP to the Council of Hawaiian Organizations for which they received much Aloha. Two more workshops for community groups are scheduled this month.

 | State Board is writing to LWVUS indicating our support for the NEW AMERICANS EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE ACT which would provide funding for state programs aimed at integrating immigrants into the community.
