Local League News Hilo is busy with their juvenile justice Interview wrap-up, is preparing to publish the new "Know Your County," and began their Family Court observations in February. They also hosted the picking Committee meeting on February 29 and March 1. Kauai League is also publishing a "Know Your County" and discussing transportation on Kauai. On February 14, Kauai League conducted a "Learn to Lobby" workshop. Honolulu League sponsored "league Day at City Hall" during February with "collective bargaining at the city level" as the topic of discussion. Mayor Frank Fasi also helped celebrate the League's 60th birthday during League Day. Honolulu manned the polling booths and counted the ballots in the hotly contested and federally supervised Hotel workers election.
