PRE-PRIMARY GUBERNATORIAL DEBATE

After considerable deliberations and negotiations, LWV/Hawaii is sponsoring a pre-primary debate including all seven Democratic candidates for Governor on Wednesday, September 10, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. The debate will be televised live by KHET-TV (Channel 11) and will be simultaneously broadcast by Radio Station KHVH. Since the debate is being held in the KHET-TV studio, there will be no room for a live audience. Be sure to watch the debate on TV or listen to the radio. Neighbor Island Leaguers should check their local listings for time and station

CONGRESSIONAL DEBATE

LWV/Hawaii will sponsor a debate between the winners of the Primary Election for the First Congressional District on Monday, October 6, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the State Capitol Auditorium. The debate will be televised live by KHON-TV (Channel 2) and simultaneously broadcast by Radio Station KHVH. A limited number of tickets have been set aside on a first-come-first-served basis. Please call Tisha Hickson at 395-5451 if you wish to reserve tickets.

GUBERNATORIAL DEBATE

LWV/Hawaii is sponsoring a debate between the winners of the Gubernatorial Primary on Wednesday, October 15, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Mamiya Theater on the St. Louis High School Campus. The debate will be televised live by KHON-TV (Channel 2) and KGMB-TV (Channel 9) and simultaneously aired by Radio Station KHVH. A limited number of tickets on a first-come-first-served basis are available. See box below on how to obtain tickets.
