Board of Education Voters Guide

Mid Week arrives each week at 275,000 households on Oahu. Featured the week of October 28,1990 will be the Board of Education candidate information compiled by the League of Women Voters of Hawaii.

Donna Bebber, new to the board this year, has carried out this assignment with aplomb. Editors of Mid Week quickly accepted the challenge of providing voter information in this oft- neglected race.

Cover story, a gird form response to questions calling for strongly agree, agree, no opinion, disagree, or strongly disagree, and limited word responses to carefully worded questions designed to provide the voter with information will be used.

Each general election candidate was sent the forms asking for participation. Those responding by the deadline will have the information included; those who fail to meet the deadline will have that noted. Mid Week will provide extra copies of the guide. Each league will have some to meet special requests. If members see a place for distribution of these guides, please reach the office - #531-7448.

The League of Women Voters of Hawaii extends appreciation to the editors of MidWeek for their support in educating voters on Oahu about the Board of Education candidates.
