Big Island LWV Reports![]() Leaguer Noelie Rodriguez, Coordinator for the Big Island's issues questionnaire conducted last fall, noted that the survey was developed to help voters make analytical distinctions between candidates. She was joined in the survey by Hilo Chair, Dorothy Doudna, Catherine Tignac and all Big Island members plus the Coalition of Concerned Citizens Campaign 1992. The survey was made available for public review at the public libraries. Candidates for mayor of Hawaii County, Council seats and House and Senate positions were asked 19 to 20 questions related to the environment, social issues, geothermal, development, and so forth. The final report totaled 27 pages! Congratulations to Noelie and all who did what League does well-get the information out.
