LWVHI Program

Delegates to Convention '93 will consider program for LWVHI for the coming period. As announced in the February 1993 Leo Hana, we recently adopted a position on Leasehold. Now we must assess the viability to the Home Rule study.

The committee, chaired by Jana Chang, have been studying this elusive subject for two years and have not been able to "get a handle" on specific questions which might focus the discussion and lead to consensus. They will bring their thinking and proposals forward for delegate consideration. Review of previous Leo Hana issues may be helpful.

Delegates and members will be able to purchase state's Program & Action, 1991-1993 for $2.00. The Leasehold position will be available in an updated publication.
