Coalition Update

HCALG's (Hawaii Coalition Against Legalized Gambling) energetic leader, Dot Bobolin, keeps communication lines with coalition members open with her frequently faxed Coalition Update. The following is excerpted from her latest newsletter:

Kauai Coalition Against Legalized Gambling has just sent a copy of the video of the public forum on gambling moderated by Jackie Kido of the League of Women Voters who also produced the video. We bought a copy and will place it in the video library It is 1 1/2 hours in length and very well done. In addition, there are 22 pages of typed videoscript.

Jackie Kido is also the managing editor of the beautiful color magazine Inside Kauai, and did a fantastic job covering Tom Grey's visit in the February issue, getting four of the legislators' positions against gambling. Outstanding!
