Because of forced economizing, the fall Ka Leo O Hana was assembled by league volunteers. The input on disk was done by Jackie Parnell as usual, and the layout by Jona Sing. The assembling and folding of both the bulky insert and Ka Leo O Hana and preparing it for bulk mail took a whole crew -- Suzanne Meisenzahl, Jackie Parnell, Betty Goodwin, Grace Furukawa, Sumiye Konashima, Evangeline Funk, and Jean Aoki.

Much of the time you couldn't tell which was moving faster, the hands or the mouths, but we accomplished much - got the newsletter out as scheduled and got the major problems of our state if not solved, at least in proper focus.
