Ahead in the New Year ETHICS WORKSHOP: The state Ethics Commission has requested assistance from LWV-Kaua'i to coordinate campaign ethics workshops in July 2004 statewide. Dan Mollway, director of the State Ethics commission will provide an overview to the legal aspects pertaining to campaign ethics in this state. A panel discussion is also planned. All candidates, journalists and community members interested in campaign ethics will be invited. A planning committee is being formed now, including members of the County Ethics Commission. LEAGUE BOARD MEETINGS: Board meetings are open to the public and occur the 2nd Wednesday of each month, noon, at the YWCA gazebo, Lihue. League members are encouraged to participate.
