Chairs Senator Espero and Senator Green, Vice Chairs Senator Kidani and Senator Nishihara, members of PGM and HTH, The League of Women Voters of Hawaii doesn't know whether an officer really needs anyone's health statistics when conducting a criminal investigation. In the event that this committee feels that such access is necessary, we would feel more comfortable if another requirement were a signed statement by the officer's superior attesting to the need for such access.
