Calendar of Events Membership Luncheon State Fair Is Coming! Voter Registrars Needed May Units - Second Round Purpose of the League of Women Voters Second Call for Registrars Wanted!!! Women Who Never Talk! Don't Forget!

Second Call for Registrars The voters Service Committee needs volunteers in two areas. One, clerical help is needed for getting Candidates Questionnaires out, and Public Relations help is also needed in that area. Also needed are more Voter Registrars. Registration desks will be maintained in the following shopping areas: GEM, Ala Moana, Kalihi Shopping Center, Waimalu Shopping Center, Pearl City Shopping Center, Windward City, Ewa Beach Shopping Center, Star Market Moiliili, Westgate Shopping Center Waipahu, Safeway Pali Highway, Kailu Key Shop, Kailua Shopping Center, Waialae-Kahala Shopping Center. If you are interested in becoiming a Registrar, call Mr. Sato at the City Clerk's office (Ph. 58061, Local 1547). Make arrangements with him as to which of the above areas you would like to cover and when. Then call either Ann Payne (267-040) or Dorothy Babineay (250-493) to let them know that you have done so. This is important, because they need to know how many Leaguers are involved in the program. Also, there are some special instructions for League members who are acting as Registrars. Tentative arrangements have been amde with Mr. Sato for a training session on Friday, May 27, from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the City Clerk's office. Call Ann or Dorothy for further information.
