Calendar of Events Membership Luncheon State Fair Is Coming! Voter Registrars Needed May Units - Second Round Purpose of the League of Women Voters Second Call for Registrars Wanted!!! Women Who Never Talk! Don't Forget!

The State Fair Is Coming! This year we will again have a booth to staff at the 50th State Fair. Mr. Walter Dodd of the Dillingham Corporation has said that the Corporation is "very, very happy" to accept our offer to staff a booth to register voters. The Fair dates are Friday, July 1, through Sunday, July 10. The hours during which we will be registering voters are as follows: 1) Both Fridays, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. 2) Both Sturdays, and Monday - 2 shifts each day 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 4:30 to 10:00 p.m. This is a total of 15 shifts needing a total of 30 Registrars.
