Solidarity Luncheon

Two hundred people and organizations have been invited to the annual Solidarity Luncheon sponsored by the Honolulu City and County Committee on the Status of Women.

To be held at the Ilikai Pacific Ball-room on April 23, this affair will commence at 11:30 with no-host cocktails and exhibits and a welcome speech by Mayor Anderson. Lunch will be served at 12:30.

Dr. Mary Bitterman, the keynote speaker will talk on "Some Women's Issues---an International Perspective."

According to Arlene Woo, co-chair of this event with Joan Chatfield, AAUW president, this luncheon meeting is designed to strengthen the solidarity of women in their quest for a more meaningful role as individuals and as members of our community.

Marion Saunders will represent League at this luncheon meeting. It is open to the public, and you can attend by mailing a check for $10.00 to:
