Non-Partisan Political Rally Draws Interested AudienceOver two hundred interested people turned out for the first nonpartisan political rally sponsored by the local League on October 18, 1950 in the Lincoln School auditorium. Many favorable comments have been made to Leaguers concerning this rally. Wives of some of the candidates who ran for office for the first time were especially enthusiastic about this type of rally.
