Meet Your New Board Members

The following League members have graciously accepted the offer to serve on the Honolulu Board, filling out the terms of three of our board members who moved to the mainland over the summer.

Mrs. S. S. Patil (Claudia) 346 Ilimano Street Kailua, 254-3741- for Bulletin Editor

The Patils moved to Honolulu from New Haven, Conn. in May 1969. Claudia has been a League member for four years and has served on the New Haven board for most of the time. Publications Chairman for one year and Local Affairs Co-chairman for three. Dr. Patil is a research biologist at the University of Hawaii. The Patils have a 17 mo. old baby.

Mrs. Donald Bremner (Dorothy) - Co-chairman for the local "Know Your City & County" study 348 Dune Circle Kailua, 261-2494

Dorothy is a graduate of Punahou and Cornell University. A League maker in Weston,. Conn. for seven years. Served on the local board for four years, Bulletin Editor for three' and President for one. Worked on Local Agenda Comm. where they just completed a "Know Your Town" booklet (could we ask for more?) and has also worked with Voter Service. The Bremners recently returned to the Islands where husband, Donald, a city planner, is the Exec. Vice-President of the Waikiki Improvement Assn. The Bremners have two children, ages 7 and 5.

Mrs. Reginald Streeter (Jacque) - Rep. Government 1350 Ala Moana Blvd. Honolulu, 531-6773

Jacque joined the LWV in Pasadena, Calif. in 1952. Has been a member in both the Merced and San Luis Obispo, Calif. Leagues. Has been the Chairman of various programs, primarily those concerned with State government, has held practically every administrative board position; served on committees of LWV of Calif;-- Studied Political Science at the Univ. of So. California. The Streeters moved to Honolulu in February of 1969, where husband manages radio station KCCN. They have two grown daughters on the mainland and a 17-year old son.
